For people self-managing chronic conditions

When the standard plan isn't enough.

Hashimoto's, PCOS, POTS, IBS, perimenopause, long-COVID. Twelve minutes with a doctor, then 8,760 hours alone with a body that doesn't do textbook things. The lab is built for the second number. It is not medical advice. It is the structured artifact you bring to the people who give it.

01 / What keeps you up

The questions on the inside of your head — that aren't getting answered anywhere.

I built each of these models because I had the question and couldn't find an honest answer. Not from the prescriber. Not from the subreddit. Not from the AI summary that just regurgitated the prescriber.

01

Your TSH is "in range." You feel like you're moving through wet cement.

The standard reference range is 0.4–4.5. Most functional thyroid practitioners flag > 2.5 in symptomatic people. The lab applies your conditions so a "normal" lab still produces a realistic energy curve — the one you're actually living.

02

You were told stress is the cause. Then handed an SSRI.

The lab won't prescribe anything. It will model your full lifestyle protocol — sleep, light, training, micronutrients, magnesium L-threonate — alongside any prescription, and let you see where the lifts come from.

03

Your symptoms move in clusters that no app tracks together.

POTS users live with brain fog, palpitations, post-meal hypotension, and salt cravings. The lab renders them on the same scenario so you can cross-reference what triggered the cluster yesterday.

04

The plan from the standard-of-care visit is too generic to help.

It's a population baseline. Add your conditions, your meds, your bloodwork, your real life — and you get something personal enough to actually run with. And clean enough to hand back to that same provider.

02 / A real protocol

What the lab outputs for someone like you.

One real scenario someone built in the closed beta. Not a recommendation. A worked example — to show you the shape of what you'd be designing for yourself.

03 / Bloodwork that matters

The tests that move this protocol — and why.

Not every marker on a Function Health panel matters for what you're doing. These are the ones that do, with the reason next to each.

04 / Harm reduction

When the lab will refuse to model.

The harm engine is hard-coded, not statistical. MAOIs + SSRIs, methylene blue + serotonergics, contraindicated peptide stacks, dosing into a known drug-interaction window — the lab refuses to render the prediction and surfaces peer-reviewed warnings instead.

It will also flag when you're outside the population the literature was sampled from — pregnant, breastfeeding, under 18, or stacking peptides or supplements the model has low confidence in. You always know what the model knows and what it's guessing.

05 / With your provider

A protocol your prescriber will read.

Every protocol you save can be exported as a clean PDF: mechanisms cited, doses listed, comparator scenario attached, predicted markers tracked. The point isn't to replace your prescriber. The point is to walk into a 12-minute appointment with a structured artifact instead of a story.

This is not medical advice. By design. It is education that makes you a more informed person sitting across from someone who can give it.
